Fall is here!  Here are our top picks for upcoming family-friendly fall festivals in order of date.  Please check websites before visiting for full details and costs.




1. Kiwanis Coweta County Fair, Newnan, GA (Sept 12-22, 2024)

One of the largest county fairs in the state, the event features thrilling rides, exhibits, vendors, entertainment and great food.


2. Inman Farm Heritage Days, Fayetteville, GA (Sept 20-22, 2024)
See hundreds of antique tractors and engines and displays of almost-forgotten arts including threshing, pea shelling, sawmilling, cotton ginning, syrup making, quilting, weaving, broom making, printing.


3. Pumpkins at Callaway Gardens (Sept 14 - Nov 1, 2024)
Explore gardens by day and watch them glow by night with a brand-new family-friendly festival!




4. Shakerag Arts and Crafts Festival, Peachtree City, GA (Sept 21-22, 2024)
The Annual Shakerag Festival features arts, crafts, and food vendors from all over Georgia and neighboring states. Children's activities and live entertainment help make this a family friendly event.

5. DULUTH: JapanFest (Sept 21-22, 2024)
JapanFest Atlanta is an annual festival that celebrates the culture and people of Japan, as well as the strong bonds between Americans and Japanese here in Georgia.

6. Tyrone Founders Day Festival (Oct 4  & Oct 5, 2024)
Friday's activities include strong man contest and action wrestling.  Saturday festivities begin at noon with food trucks, live music, zipline rides, bumper cars, an escape room and more!

7. HAMPTON: Georgia State Fair Atlanta Motor Speedway (Sept 27 - Oct 6, 2024)
Exciting Attractions & Shows. Live Music. All Your Favorite Fair Food. Spectacular Carnival Rides & Kiddie Rides. Safe, Clean Family Fun.


8. Cotton Fair, Downtown Gay, GA (Oct 5 & 6, 2024)
Return to 1910 where the Farmhouse, the Cotton Gin, and the Cotton Warehouse form a unique backdrop for a great day of 21st century fun. Amidst skilled artisans and antique specialists, the Fair shares remnants of farm life in days gone by. Come hungry and bring the children to play in the kid's area.




9. Georgia Apple Festival Ellijay, GA (Oct 12-13 & Oct 19-20, 2024)
There are over 300 vendors with handmade, hand-crafted items, as well as many on-site demonstrations of how selected types of crafts are made. There is a parade and antique car show each year. 


10: STONE MOUNTAIN: Pumpkin Festival (Sept 14-Nov 3, 2024)
Enjoy park attractions, games, live shows, displays during the day. Then stay to enjoy a Glow by Night experience.
