Five Things to Do this Weekend around Henry County 8/19- 8/21

By Jennifer Sheran, publisher Macaroni Kid McDonough, Stockbridge, Hampton, Locust Grove August 17, 2022

Have you been to the antique malls in Locust Grove. The Grove Depot and Plantar's Walk are within walking distance and both have a large selection of antiques and modern items to discover. Last week, I joined friends in the McDonough Junior Women's Club for lunch at Lovin' Oven Pizza - delish! - and some antique shopping. We had a great time. If you are looking for a girlfriend outing, head to Locust Grove.

This week, I encourage you to get out and support our local businesses while making family memories. Every week, we look at our event calendar and choose five to ten things to do in and around Henry county over the coming week. We try to pick something for the everyone in the family. Click on the links for all the details! Check our Events Calendar for more options. If you think something should be on our list next week, email mackidmcdonough@macaronikid.com with your suggestion!
