Since 1977, the Geranium Festival has been an annual fixture in McDonough. This year marks the 44th Geranium Festival and vendors are excited to be back after the 2020 hiatus and the festival moved to late summer in 2021. The festival takes place around the Square and down many side streets. Run by the Lions Club, the festival is primarily and Arts & Crafts festival selling items crafted by local and area artisans. The money raised from booth spaces supports Henry County charities and the visually impaired.
It is going to be a day of fun and celebration. There will be hundreds of booths of artisans and crafters, food vendors, and local businesses set up around the square and down the side streets. It is a great day to get out and support the people in your community and make some memories. We hope to see you there!
