You Can Help
If you can help, this is a good time of year to donate school supplies and it can be a fun family activity. Hit up those back-to-school sales and grabs some extra items on your kids back to school lists. Some good things to add to your list include:

Back to School Readiness
Henry County has a Welcome Center for new families to get support for the many processes and procedures needed to get started in the Henry County School district. The Henry County Schools Welcome Center is centrally located in the county at 166 Holly Smith Drive in McDonough. It is housed in the former Henry County Middle School, now known as the Henry County Learning and Support Center. Beginning Monday, July 19, the Welcome Center will be open five days a week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Henry County Parks & Recreation Fairview Recreation Center
Henry County Parks & Recreation offers after school programming Monday through Friday on school days.
Students are picked up from Austin Road Elementary and Fairview Elementary
When: Mon - Fri from 2:30 - 6:30 p.m. when school is in session
Cost: $50 per child per week
