South and South East Atlanta Area Independence Day Events

Star Spangled Saturday in Warm Springs

June 25 at 11:00 a.m.

The Coweta Falls Chapter Sons of the American Revolution will lead off a parade in historic Warm Springs, Ga with a presentation of the colors and rifle salute, followed by a flyover of vintage planes. Free watermelon courtesy of the Warm Springs Fruit Stand will be at the city park. The Peachtree City Corvette Club will present a "Cruise-In" and they invite visitors to view their cars parked at the market area at Spring & Broad immediately following the parade

Freedom Fest Oak Hill Church, Williamson

June 26, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Bring a picnic and enjoy summer outside fun at Oak Hill Church in Williamson. Enjoy inflatables, waterslides and fireworks when the sun goes down.





Stone Mountain's Annual Fantastic Fourth Celebration

July 1-5

Enjoy a day full of adventure with great family attractions and live entertainment, then stay into the evening to experience the Lasershow Spectacular followed by the exact same patriotic fireworks finale each night of the celebration! The Fantastic Fourth Celebration has been voted the “Best Place to see Fireworks in Atlanta” by Atlanta Journal-Constitution readers, a “Must-See Fireworks Show” by USA Today, and one of Reader’s Digest’s picks for “America’s Most Spectacular Fourth of July Fireworks.”

You must purchase a spot on online for each person in your group and show your email at the ticket plaza at the entrance.

Callaway Gardens July Fourth Star Spangled Beach Party, Pine Mountain

July 1-4

A weekend of fun at Callaway Gardens includes beach activities, live music, food trucks, contests and the annual Fireworks Extravaganza. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. 

Entrance fees are adults, $29.95-$69.95; ages 3-11, $26.95; ages 2 and younger, free.

Details: The fireworks will be at Pilgreens Steakhouse and the show is free and open to the public.  Come early to set up your chairs

July 4 at 5:30 p.m. 

Details: Fun for all ages, food, food trucks, and concessions, live music, games, bouncey houses, and the best fireworks on the south-side!

🧨Independence in the Park on the Square in Covington

July 4, at 6:00 p.m.

Details: Enjoy the fireworks on the square.

🧨 Stockbridge July 4th Extravaganza

July 4, 6:30 - 10:00 p.m.

Details: The City of Stockbridge will host a great time in the city with music, food, and fireworks.

🧨Sunsets, Fireworks, and S'mores at Panola Mountain, Stockbridge

July 4, 8:00 p.m. 

Details:  Join the rangers for a once a year hike up Panola Mountain to watch the sunset over downtown Atlanta, then watch the fireworks shows from Peachtree City to Stone Mountain showcase a panoramic view. After the spectacular light show, join us for a bonfire and roast some s'mores.
