Veterans Day Deals and Discounts 2020

To celebrate Veterans Day, attractions and restaurants across the Atlanta area are offering deals for the women and men who have served our county.

Here are some deals for Veterans



Atlanta History Museum

The Atlanta History Center is holding a Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11 from 11am–12pm in Veterans Park at the corner of West Paces Ferry Road and Slaton Drive, and will feature speakers, music, and the opportunity to connect with other veterans and their families.

Axe Country, McDonough

Free axe throwing for all veterans on Veterans Day.


Six Flags Over Georgia
Military Appreciation Days during Veterans Day Weekend, Nov. 6-7 and Thurs. Nov 11, means free admission for active military members and up to three dependents. An unlimited amount of additional tickets may be purchased for family members or friends for 50 percent off.


Stone Mountain Park

Stone Mountain Park is proud to offer a discounted Attractions Pass of $24.95 ($10 off) to members of the military


Southern Belle Farm

Southern Belle Farms offers a military discounted ticket price of $10.95.


World of Coca-Cola

Military members (active duty, reserves and retirees) can enjoy a visit to World of Coca-Cola free of charge year-round, but on Veterans Day, World of Coca-Cola wants to show some extra gratitude to the men and women who serve our country. From Friday, November 5 to Sunday, November 14, the Atlanta attraction is extending members of the Armed Forces a special offer to purchase up to four general admission tickets at half-price

Members are invited to share a memorable visit to World of Coca-Cola with friends and family in honor of the holiday, complete with a stop by the recently launched Scent Discovery experience. Tickets can be purchased online here, and members will be asked to present their valid Armed Forces ID when they arrive at the attraction. 


Zoo Atlanta

Veteran, active-duty, retired and reserve members of the U.S. Armed Forces get free admission every day at Zoo Atlanta. Present a valid military I.D. at Zoo Atlanta to redeem the discount.


LOCAL RESTAURANTS

Applebee’s: Free meal from a special menu Sunday.

Buffalo Wild Wings: 10 free boneless wings and fries for all veterans and active-duty service members. 

Chili's: Free meal from special menu Sunday.

Cracker Barrel: Free slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake or a Crafted Coffee beverage.

Dunkin': Free doughnut Sunday. No purchase required.

Golden Corral: Military appreciation Night free meal on  Nov. 11

Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers: Veterans and current military personnel get a card for a free Freddy's Original Double combo meal on November 11 that can be used until November 30, 2021.

Huddle House: Free MVP breakfast platter to all active military members and veterans with proper ID on Veterans Day.

Little Caesars: Free Hot-N-Ready lunch combo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

LongHorn Steakhouse: Free appetizer or dessert on Veterans day, plus 10% table discount. 

Olive Garden: one free meal from a special Veterans Day menu, and in some cases, an additional 10 percent off the bill for the members dining with the veteran. 

Outback Steakhouse: 10 percent off everyday.

Starbucks: Free tall coffee for any veteran, active duty military and military spouse Sunday.


Keep in mind that most businesses require proof of military service. Here's what identification you need to receive your veteran discounts.

Not all franchise locations participate in their national chain's Veterans Day programs -- be sure contact your nearest establishment to make sure they are participating.
