To celebrate their return to the big screen next month in Sony Pictures Animation’s all-new, all-animated adventure, Smurfs: The Lost Village, Papa Smurf and Hefty Smurf will be in Atlanta on Saturday, March 25, 2017 to meet fans at the Atlanta Film Festival (ATLFF)!
In upcoming fresh new take on the Smurfs (arriving in theaters nationwide on Friday, April 7, 2017), a mysterious map sets Smurfette and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil wizard Gargamel does. Embarking on a rollercoaster journey full of action and danger, the Smurfs are on a course that leads to the discovery of the biggest secret in Smurf history! Based on the characters and works of Peyo, the film features the voices of Demi Lovato as Smurfette, Rainn Wilson as Gargamel, Joe Manganiello as Hefty Smurf, Jack McBrayer as Clumsy Smurf, Danny Pudi as Brainy Smurf, Ellie Kemper as SmurfBlossom, Ariel Winter as SmurfLily, with Mandy Patinkin as Papa Smurf and Julia Roberts as SmurfWillow.
Fans are invited to come out to meet and take pictures with Papa Smurf and Hefty Smurf as they greet fans following the ‘Planet of the Children’ short films block, comprised of seven kid-friendly short films or TV shows, that will play at the 41st annual ATLFF.
